Customer Review: Too small surface area to work

I actually have used several 3M products, and most have worked well. But these little hooks just don't stay up even to hold very light paper objects. I'm not sure why they work so poorly, but my best guess is that the surface area of the adhesive strip is just too small.
In contrast, I've used the large 3M hooks with great success to hold up rather heavy robes in the bathroom.
