Customer Review: Fantastic Idea and Execution For Uop to Two Uses

My wife and I just had out kitchen remodeled (after 37 years). Knowing that putting up a towel on two cabinets would either leave a hole or would be impossible to remove using tape, we tried the equivalent of the Command 17040 picture hanger, so this review is for all 3M Adhesive Strips.
They work exceedingly well, not leaving marks on walls or on the cabinets. However, regardless of what you see on TV, this works twice at most. After removing the second time, the strip tore. If we want to use it again, it will have to be more permanent unless 3M comes out with replacement strips.
Again, works well, but even then be certain that you know where to put this because you only get so many chances to change your mind.

I have used these hangers for 11 pictures in my home, including our priceless (and pricey) family portrait. The heavy pictures above my bed have been hanging nearly 5 years now. I simply use more than one when hanging something heavier than the weight limit. I love the fact that I can reposition my pictures without leaving marks and/or holes in my walls. I also like the fact I don't have to wait for my hubby to come home and find a stud or crank up the power drill. I have used the sawtooth picture hangers, the poster tabs, and the velcro tabs for art all over my house! My only complaint is lack of local availability (I have only found them at Bed Bath and Beyond and they charge over $4 for each one.)Customer Review: Messed up my wall

I am very disappointed in these. I bought four of these hangers for 4 pictures and they hung up nice - pictures seem up there pretty good. Problem? I got one of the pictures too low so I decide to remove the hook and reposition it. I carefully followed the directions to remove it and pulled straight down. The strip you pull broke and I was forced to peel the hanger off the wall. It tore a big piece out of my drywall - in my NEW home and a wall I just had painted. I'm just sick that I have 3 more of these things hanging on my walls!Customer Review: Great product but expensive S&H costs

I purchased this products from various venders through Amazon.com.
The product is great! I use this stuff to hang picture with wooden frames, clothes, almost everything! And one thing I love about this product is that I don't have to use any nails and hammer to the wall...Especially because my wall is made up of material that crumbles easily when punctured.
But I found that purchasing this online to be a bit expensive versus purchasing at the store.

I used these strips to hang framed, glass front pictures in my house about seven years ago. The all worked great, but last week, one crashed down and two days later, a second one fell. Just remember to replace every few years and you'll be fine. They're perfect for temporary situations, like rentals. The adhesive pulled right off and the wall was unmarked. Minus one star for not warning on the package that they don't last forever.
