You know that over $300 original slashed price posted above?? Total sham. These are your run-of-the-mill SAWDUST particle respirators that you can get at any local hardware/lumber store. They are not made for use with any kind of gaseous materials such as aerosol sprays, nor for viral/bacterial protection. It states as much on the packaging.
I ordered these on Amazon, same product page/listing except it listed a different seller at the time and they took FOREVER to arrive. Almost TWO months after ordering they finally arrived in a beat up box that was half crushed. The 3 boxes inside were in pretty bad shape on their own, too, shipped that way from the seller.
If you're looking for N1H1 Flu protection, best to bypass these and look for something specifically designed for that type of protection because THIS isn't it.

The seller Deerso has offered me 50% off on the original price they charged me which was $40. With shipping, I should be paying about $25 for 1 pack. We'll see.
Because of the Swine flu, people are buying this stuff like crazy.The sellers are running out of their supplies. So another seller with this product takes over. Although you are clicking the same link, the seller might be different along with a noticeable price change. This seemed to happen all too often today.
What to do? Nothing really. You know you're still gonna buy some.

I read some of the reviews saying this product can be bought cheaper elsewhere. I had already put my order in but Googled it before ordering. Sure enough, it can be bought at ACE Hardware online for $13.85. I bought it from ACE. Then I came back to Amazon to cancel the order I had on record and typed in 3M8000 Repirator and another the screen showed another seller offering it at the same price as ACE, $13.85. So, out of curiosity, I typed in just Respirators and it took me back to a screen showing the same item on sale for the $19+ I had seen originally.Customer Review: DON'T buy from them

I ordered 2 of these on April 28th 2009 at a price of $13.95 each. Four days later in the evening on May 1st I recieved an email saying they were out of stock and would have to cancell my order. Now I see that the item is back in stock on May 5th at $22.95 each. Talk about FEAR PROFITEERING. Canceling my order and repricing 65% higher. This company should be forbidened from doing business through amazon.com. If Amazon continues to use companies like this they will lose my business.Customer Review: Swine Flue Life Saver!!

My whole family wears these non-stop now that Swine Flue is going around. People like to stare a lot, but I give them an evil glance and they start shaking in their boots.
I think these make me look more important, too. It's like announcing "My Life is So Important that I buy masks to keep it safe!" ... It's awesome.
It's so swell not having to worry about dying every time we go out.
I would recommend these to anyone.
