Tools and Hardware Reviews of 3M 8210Plus Particulate Respirator N95, 20-PackCustomer Review: THIS IS A SCAM!! Summary: 2 Stars
I purchased these masks because they are advertised as flu masks and antisepsis masks, when the box clearly states it is only recommended for sanding, grinding, sawing, sweeping and insulating. The seller has labeled all its masks as flu masks, putting consumers at risk! TCP Global says this is a flu mask because it is N95. This only means it filters small particles, but they don't tell you the mask is for industrial use and not for health purposes. Even the mask has a printed sign on it stating that misuse may result in sickness or death. The FDA has not approved 3M Respirator #8210 (this one) to be used by the general public in case of a health emergency!!
Customer Review: No Swine Flu here!!1 Summary: 5 Stars
I love love this product so much! I live in the big city and there is many disaeses and filthy everywhere on everyone even, the clean looking people! There is alot of risks being close to dirty people, especially the visitors! This is how we can get sick here in the USA because other countries dont have the good healthcare.
But This mask his kept me, safe and sound and protectd and now I DONT HAVE SWINE FLUE! I can go freely to everywhere even to the pool or the parking lot of the Home Depot!
Thanks 3M 8210 particulate respirator N95 the winrar is you!!1
Customer Review: Quality Disposable Masks Summary: 5 Stars
Very good quality USA made disposable respirators.
The double set of straps helps with a more secure fit and the thicker filter material provides a longer usable life.
I really appreciate that 3M still makes these in the USA. The local hardware store stores seemed to have switched to imported masks (although not retailing for a whole lot less). But somehow the words 'Safety Supplies' and 'Made in China' don't seem to go together well. I will stick with these 3M USA made products, at least I know I will not be poisoned by the mask material itself.
Customer Review: Straps do break a lot Summary: 1 Stars
I haven't bought this mask from Amazon, only from the local big-box type home improvement stores (and paid way more BTW).
But its the same mask, and the straps do break. I bought a two-pack the other day and after only a few uses the straps on both masks had already broken. The ones I had bought before were the same. I don't know if its a heat issue, as I live in Florida and this is in summertime.
If it weren't for that problem it would be a good mask. Why can't a major company like 3M come up with straps that don't break?
Customer Review: Great woodworking dust mask Summary: 5 Stars
I've tried at least 8 different masks. This is hands down the best. It is comfortable, the two straps provide a tight seal so dust does not leak in through the sides. Best part, no "hacking cough" after using with 220 grit power hand sander.
Unlike other reviews, I've never had a strap break, even after using hundreds of this mask.
You can tell it is working because it get dirty, unlike other masks that stay clean. In other words, all the dirt is stuff that would have gone into your lungs!
