I've tried at least 8 different masks. This is hands down the best. It is comfortable, the two straps provide a tight seal so dust does not leak in through the sides. Best part, no "hacking cough" after using with 220 grit power hand sander.
Unlike other reviews, I've never had a strap break, even after using hundreds of this mask.
You can tell it is working because it get dirty, unlike other masks that stay clean. In other words, all the dirt is stuff that would have gone into your lungs!

Respirators are great for use when getting up leaves or mowing the lawn. I use them regularly during fall for my lawn business. The straps are not durable for long-term use, but usually last as long as the mask stays breatheable. The straps need to be stretched evenly before the mask is first put on or it may seem too tight. One at a time stretch each strap a section of the strap at a time. Much better than the single strap nuisance respirators. Price was awesome on an open box. N95 is now STANDARD for anyone who want to spend money on dust/Respirator Mask. Common sense. Now, there are LOTS of N95 Masks out there which this particular item makes just an average item. I personally prefer Latex Free, Staple Free, and no metal nose piece for comfort and healther fit. Price of this item is again average. This mask should be enough for most everyday household, and industrial worker's need. The better one is still out there with same price range in the same pack.Customer Review: Excellant dust mask

I think these are well made. I have no problem with the straps of which there are two. The two straps add to the tightness of the fit which is importand for these be of any help in keeping out the dust. There is also a foam pad on the inside of the nose bridge which adds to the comfort level.
I am cutting cement board in the hot sun and would rather use this style of mask as opposed to a full respirator.
