Tools and Hardware Reviews of 3M 8210Plus Particulate Respirator N95, 20-PackCustomer Review: 3M N95 Respirator Mask Summary: 5 Stars
I called 3M today and asked if this product was being used for the flu thats going around. He said
yes, you want to make sure it has N95 on it. I bought a case (20) of them under $20.00 at Lowes in the paint department. The box reads for occupational use. Read directions for proper use.
Customer Review: Great for lawn mowing Summary: 5 Stars
I use the 3M 1860 N95 respirator for mowing the lawn, and it is great. I'm allergic to the grass, as well as other debris from the lawn mower. Without a respirator (or even WITH one that doesn't filter as well) I have trouble breathing afterward. This is just the product for me.
Customer Review: Plain particulate respirator. Summary: 4 Stars
There's not a lot to write about these plain 3M respirators. They are as comfortable and functional as one would expect and demand from such a product and are fairly priced. Good for dealing with dust. Or avian flu, if you're one of those paranoid types . . . I guess . . . ?
Customer Review: Highly recommend Summary: 5 Stars
Excellent quality, good price, great seller - through my research found that Homeland Security, American Red Cross, FEMA, etc. all recommended this level of mask for personal emergency preparedness. Additionally, the Health Department recommended this level for H1N1, etc.
Customer Review: FDA authorized Summary: 4 Stars
From http://www.cdc.gov/h1n1flu/eua/pdf/n95factsheet.pdf, you can find this 3M respirator has been authorized by FDA in May of this year (2009) for emergency use by the general public1 during the current swine flu emergency to help reduce exposure to airborne germs.
