Customer Review: MUCH nicer in person... ADORABLE

This was a Christmas gift for my husband from my mother. His bonsai arrived packed in a large box with an abundance of styrofoam peanuts. Additionally, the plant/pot was very carefully wrapped in a thick layer of bubble wrap. Underneath that, the plant/pot was covered with packing tape to keep the dirt in place. Awesome packaging for shipping from Bonsai Boys. But the best part was the bonsai itself (of course). It was healthy as can be and considerably cuter in person than what you see in the stock photo. Absolutely delightful. I realize each plant is slightly custom in that each rock set and position of the fisherman probably varies, and each juniper has it's own personality, but I can't imagine that each one isn't as totally charming as the one my husband received. I love the little pond area. This little bonsai has made my husband decide that owning, growing, caring for bonsai might be a cool little hobby. :) We've added a "customer image" to the product description to help you evaluate this bonsai for yourself.Customer Review: Worth the money!

I was originally going to get the $11 bonsai tree, but after reading review I decided to go with this one. In came in about 5 days. It was packaged very well, no way shipping could have damaged it. It looks very similar to the picture with the blue pot. Yes it isn't quite as plush, but I'll just give it some time. And I'm not saying it's bare or anything. I am very happy with how it looks. It came with the blue pot with the large rocks, fisherman, and little pond area. I am so so happy I ordered a bonsai. Now I just hope I can take care of it. The instructions that come with is just a sheet of paper with some basic care. I would suggest getting the book with tips like I did. It's my first Bonsai so wish me luck! I would definitely re-buy this product and suggest it to other people.Customer Review: Unique bonsai tree! A must have!

I searched the internet for a bonsai tree for my husband's birthday and I decided to order this one based on the other two reviews. They were right! This bonsai tree came very well packaged, on time, and is just like the picture. I also ordered the Bonsai (101 Essential Tips) (Paperback)for $5.00 on Amazon as well as the Bonsai Tool Kit, Student 5 Piece, Joshua Roth Limited. You can't go wrong with this bonsai tree! I totally agree with the other two reviewers. 5 stars!Customer Review: OK

My plant looked pretty skimpy compared to the photo. I was disapointed. I was hesitant to give it to my mother for her birthday. I gave it to her with the option of giving it back and letting me get her something else. She said she loved it. I hope that's not just my mom not wanting to hurt my feelings. She's the type that if you wrapped up a dirty dish towel she would tell you it's what she always wanted. Honestly, I think she did like it.Customer Review: Beautiful Bonsai live tree arrangement!

I just received the tree. It's beautiful! The setting matches the product picture: the tree (healthy looking), large rocks, fisherman w/pole, etc. It is one product that exceeds my expectations! It was shipped from the East Coast to the Seattle area and it was well wrapped and protected in the shipping box. No damage! Perfect! 5 Stars plus!
