This picture looks red, and the company said they were going to change it, but I guess they didn't. I thought it was a dark red color. It came in black, I called the company and they were very accomodating because I had placed a negative review here. It was VERY easy to put together and it fits great in my small kitchen. It is bigger than I thought it would be, but it works fine in the area I have for it. I ordered 2 more bar stools for it because the two it comes with were not enough for the large table. Keep in mind when ordered additional stools, these are 30" and we ordered 29" for the 2 additional stools because we could not find 30". It still looks great!
