I never got around to hooking up our new dryer after we bought a set for the new house, mainly because clean laundry hung up on a rack in the laundry room dries nicely overnight anyway, without any help other than the nearby furnace. However, lint became an issue in the room, and sometimes we'd like the option to dry clothes a little faster. I found this cabinet at a nice discount, and it works great. Laundry that used to hang for 12 hours takes about 8 on the "air fluff" setting (no extra heat) or 2-4 with heat (max 1400w). Nice -- we save energy without decorating the utility/laundry room in an "urban hillbilly" theme. Would I pay full price? No. Would I find one again instead of a conventional dryer? Heck yeah.
