I am so pleased with the purchase of this bed. There were a lot of air beds for kids to choose from, but I chose this because of its wonderful ratings. I am even happier than I expected to be. First off, it was more spacious than I anticipated. Second, the air pump is great. It is the easiest pump I have ever used, and I also love the way it deflates. The best part of the whole deal is how well my son slept on it. It has only been two nights, but each night he slept a straight ten to eleven hours. He has never been a good sleeper, and at two and a half I could probably count the nights he has slept all the way though on my fingers. I remember reading the reviews of others who said their kid slept so well on the bed and I thinking, "so what, your kid probably just sleeps well anywhere". But it was true for me too. It folds up so nicely and the bag they give you to put it in has plenty of room; you don't need to find some clever way to fold it up so that you can cram it into the bag. I am excited to take this bed with us on our cruise next month, which is the reason I made the purchase in the first place. I hope it continues to be as great as I think it is!Customer Review: A workable solution for the noise problem

*The set up and take down is very, very easy.
*It is light to transport and is very compact.
Cons:
*It is very noisy when my daughter makes any type of movement.
*It can be cold.
My solution to the noise and bed surface temperature:
This aerobed surface is not covered by material like my other aerobed. Without this material cover,the bed makes a lot of noise when my daughter moves and is cold. To solve the problem, I made sure the bed was fully inflated (I read this suggestion on another web site) and put multiple layers of covers under the moon and stars cover, including a larger mattress cover. The layers did not hinder the raised sides effectiveness. This involves more packing for trips but for us well worth it. My daughter loves "her moon and stars bed" and we are very satisfied with the product.

I purchased this bed for our very large 16 month old who has never slept well in travel cribs or in pack-n-plays. We have now been traveling for almost four weeks and he is really sleeping well on it. The bed sets up so quickly and is really compact when deflated and rolled up in the included bag. We carried it on the plane as a personal item with no problem although it could also easily fit inside a suitcase with room to spare. The raised sides have kept him from rolling off every night except one and even then the bed is so low to the floor that it wasn't an issue. I would highly recommend this product on anyone. The bed does come with a very nice sheet with elastic straps to hold it into place. The straps keep the sheet secure but if your child is very active in their sleep, the fabric moving around on the matteras can make a bit of noise. My only recommendations to improve the product would be if they could cover the top of the actual bed with the velvet like covering that comes on some of their adult size models. I think that would solve the noise issue and give the matteras a slightly nicer feel. All in all, a great product!

We purchased this bed a few years ago for our then 2 1/2 year old son during a vacation where we stayed in a motel with only one bed. It is very portable (for car travel) and super easy to set up. The cover is cute and washable. The air pump worked quickly. The raised sides worked great for keeping him from rolling off onto the floor.
We liked our first Aerobed so much we have recently purchased a second for our daughter. We are a military family so whenever we visit family, go on vacation, or move we always need a place for the kids to sleep. During our recent move, both kids slept on their Aerobeds quite comfortably while we waited a month for our household furniture to arrive.
Only negative: when travelling by air they do take up a lot of room in baggage. One bed takes up about a third to a half of a large suitcase. We have one entire suitcase solely for these and other items that are must-haves for the kids. For us, that is ok, but others who prefer to travel a little lighter might find this a problem. The storage bag that comes with the mattress is good, but airlines would tear it up if it weren't in a suitcase.

Note - mattress cover is not as pictured - the one we received had a cute stars and moons pattern on it. Very adorable, but not pure white as shown.
We recently bought a second one of these Aerobeds for our younger child. We use this whenever we are sleeping away from home - so often we stay with relatives and there aren't enough beds for everyone kids included. We used to use a typical full size adult air mattress for them, but when you get near the edge of a regular mattress, you tend to roll off and the kids would constantly be falling off. The dip in this makes it rollproof, and the smaller size is great for being able to tuck them beside a bed or wherever there is space when visiting grandma's house or going on vacation!
Blowing it up is quick and easy - the included pump blows the whole thing up in less than a minute. It rolls back up easily too and stows neatly in the included bag.
My kids are 4 and 2, and I'm thinking we can easily use these for many years to come before they will be outgrown. Heck, I could probably sleep on it, as I sleep curled up on my side.
