Customer Review: Powerful, quiet, and sturdy

This little fan is fabulous. One of my boys, age 13, loves to have a fan blowing directly on him when he sleeps. The problem is he sleeps way up on a loft bed where there's no air circulation. Enter this little Air King clip-on, and his problems are solved. It plugs into an oulet near the ground, the cord stretches up the side of the wall, all the way to the top of the loft where the fan clips onto the metal rail of his bed. Voila! He has his own personal cool-front every time he sleeps. The clip is very sturdy. I was concerned that it would shift since the bars of his loft bed are tubular shaped. I bought this fan because I'm in Afghanistan and the heaters in the tents are overwhelming. And I have always had to listen to a fan at night because dead silence drives me crazy. The only problem is, this fan is so quiet, you dont even know it's on. I suppose that's great for the other 99% of the people that are going to buy this. The clip on the fan is extremely heavy duty and durable. The cord is REALLY long also. The only thing I would say is a downside to this fan is that even the high setting doesn't blow as much air as compared to the other guys' fans of similiar size. overall great fan for the price.Customer Review: Inexpensive, but flimsy clip

It's inexpensive and quiet, but the clip mechanism leaves a bit to be desired. The clip and fan are made from relatively low-grade plastic. It's probably OK if you intend to always leave the fan in one place, but if you move it around or clip it someplace that's subject to very slight vibration or other small movements it's inadequate - it slips over and falls off.
It's not a terrible product and it's a decent value, but it's one of those cases where the construction could be greatly improved for about $0.50 a unit (thicker / higher grade plastic, better spring, etc).

This is exactly the kind of fan I needed. I smoke and I moved into a house with 7 foot ceilings, so a ceiling fan was not possible. I looked for a small fan that I could put on the end table next to my couch. This fan is so quiet that I can't tell it's even running unless I look at it. On the low setting it's not just quiet, it's silent. The clip is very easy to use and stays secure on my glass end table. The cord is long enough to reach behind a chair to the closest outlet. For the money, you cannot beat this little fan.Customer Review: Works nicely

I bought this fan because the amps in my car get pretty hot in the summer and I wanted to keep them cool. This fan is a pretty good size for that and it has helped keep my amps cool when it's really hot outside. It isn't very loud, but I wouldn't say it's quiet either. It isn't too loud.
It will also work great inside your house. To top that off, it's a pretty good price. If you need a little fan that can clip onto things, isn't loud, and doesn't use a lot of power, you should buy this.
