This tool is not shy about digging into whatever it grabs, this is like a heavy duty channel locking pipe wrench. It will leave teeth marks on whatever stubborn bolt/pipe you torque on. That is why you are using it, because muscle is the only way to remove stuck parts. Fairly easy to adjust just like the channel lock, easy like a pipe wrench in many one-handed applications [although a pipe wrench will "hang" in place easier]. This has a wide range of grabbing widths but the small parts are always a pain to grab/get set just right with a heavy wrench, but when you do crank into it... muscle is your only limitation!
