If you're doing your own timing belt replacement on a honda, this tool is needed! By far, getting the crank pulley bolt off is the hardest part of the job and not having this tool would make it near impossible. Spend the money and do it right. There are some excellent videos that you can watch to show you how the tool is used if you search around the web. I purchased the tool for a little over $30 and it was well worth it. Even if you can get a mechanic to pop the bolt and put it back on about 70%, it will most likely cost you $50-75 and then you're going to need it to tighten the bolt after you replaced the belt and water pump!Customer Review: don't even bother without one

this thig is every bit worth the money. it took less than 5 minutes to get the pully bolt loose with this and i had spent about 2 hours trying to wedge the flywheel with a screw driver. after attaching tool with a breaker bar against frame of the car i actually turned bolt from 9 o'clock position to about 6 oclock position before bolt broke loose, i was not even close to getting it loose before i got the tool. it also came in handy after installing the new timing belt, i could rotate the engine to check timing marks by just putting pulley on crankshaft and did not have to tighten and then again break loose the pully bolt.Customer Review: Honda Crank Pulley Removal tool

Tool was fine however I ordered it overnight express because I needed it asap and 3 days later it hadn't even left the warehouse. So I called amazon and they said they would refund the shipping price and ship it out overnight the next day, two days later or so it went out and showed up 3 or 4 days later after that. I called the shipping agency and they said it had not been shipped overnight but instead had been shipped standard, that was important as I was waiting on the particular car to be ready. A total life saver, well worth the money. This tool is very handy if you need to remove that stubborn crank pulley bolt. You don't even need an extra breaker bar because the way it is shaped causes it to jam it's self against the body of the car on the inside if the wheel well. When it came to getting that bolt out I tried just about everything, i even rented a 3/4 drive impact wrench. Nothing could do the job as easy as this tool! This tool worked perfectly to remove my crankcase pulley off my 2004 Civic. The offset tang allowed me to put the breaker bar on either front or back, which allowed me to avoid interferences. It is quite rugged enough to put the more than 200 ft-lbs of torque to hold the engine while I removed the bolt. It stayed in place, but also removed easily.
