Customer Review: GREAT PRODUCT BUT IT IS NOT CHEAP
Summary: 5 Stars

GREAT PRODUCT IF YOU WANT PROFFESIONAL TYPE EQUIPMENT BUT IT IS NOT CHEAP. IF YOU HAVE SHORT ATTENTION SPAN THIS NOT FOR YOU UNLESS YOU NARE REALLY LIKE YOUR HOBBIES.

Customer Review: If you've come all the way to this page, stop pondering; just order it!
Summary: 5 Stars

A rather unusual chain of events made me buy this device. It helped me in one major way and will probably continue to inform my behavior from now on. While nobody can tell what the effects of exposure to electromagnetic fields are, taking a chance with these when we worry about lesser things is not right.

So, here are the takeaways for the prospective buyer:

1) Get one of these when you live in a rental/condo (high density habitat)--you'll be surprised to learn what's behind those walls, don't wait to be shocked!
2) Get one of these, even if you have to borrow it, and check your house throughout to figure out what the EM hotspots are. Then think what you do on or near these hotspots and decide what to change (behavior or location)!
3) When you figure it all out, you may resell it!

Now, why have I written so imperatively? Because you need to know the facts that are obscured by the official line (no evidence, no repeat studies, no conclusive or even contradictory data, no statistical significance, no... need to worry) while all kinds of medical conditions, generically caused by environmental factors, surround us.

About the device itself I can say it seems to be analogical, it measures magnetic fields (on 2 scales, up to 3 milligauss and then up to 100 milligauss), electric fields, and radio/microwave. The manufacturer is also great at shipping it, thanks again!

Customer Review: It changed my behavior
Summary: 5 Stars

How often do you buy a product that changes what you do?

I became aware of EMF problems because of a friend who has power lines just outside her condo. After considerable research, I bought the TriField meter as the best product for the money. BTW I found that it's slightly cheaper plus free shipping if you make an offer on eBay to buy it. This product is great! Clear directions, and measures all the stuff that's important.

Here's what I'm now doing differently:
1. I rearranged our TVs so the older high-radiation sets are in rooms we don't use very often.
2. I sit on the other side of the dining table when the living room TV is on (it radiates like fury in all directions, out to 6 feet distance).
3. I try to stay 6 feet away from the microwave oven when it's on (you would be amazed at the field strength it produces).
4. Whenever possible, I set my cell phone (iPhone) a foot away instead of in my pocket next to my body - every time it "checks in" with the nearest cell tower, there's a spike in RF radiation nearby.
5. I am aware that wherever there's a running motor, there will be fields in the immediate vicinity - up to a foot away. So don't lean against a running dishwasher, for example.

I highly recommend this product!

Customer Review: Interesting gadget
Summary: 4 Stars

This meter is intended to detect electric and magnetic fields and microwaves. Solid red on the dial indicates where effects on the human body are supposed to begin.

I have discovered a lot of these. I now stay 6 feet away from any operating microwave oven, if I can. I have discovered that my Lexus RX300 produces a lot of electro-magnetic field, which is especially bad just above the dash. I don't know what a hybrid would be like if a regular gas engine car is this bad.

I got it partly to check on emission from nearby hilltop radio towers. I did not detect much from the towers' direction when nearby them, but did get the red zone from another direction. Maybe something was being directed toward them from another source.

The sensitive magnetic setting can pick up a battery powered watch ticking, when held right on it. Switching to the more sensitive magnetic range causes the needle to hit the right pin for a moment, however.

Looks like it was made in a garage shop, but overall I recommend it.
This meter seems to be a good compromise between price and features.

Customer Review: not quite a natural field EMF meter but very close
Summary: 5 Stars

I love the ability this meter gives you to monitor the magnetic, electrical, microwave and radio waves all on one compact device. This little beauty is sensitive since I found it could pick up the energy from my heartbeat with it held at arms length. It is also handy for debunking things like computer bleed-through in walls. A must for the serious paranormal investigator's toolbox.
