Tools and Hardware Reviews of Clearmax Lightweight Pressurized Steam Cleaner and Sanitizer (Blue)Customer Review: Millfaye Summary: 5 Stars
I ordered this little steamer recently and I think it's a bargain for $20. It doesn't take all the work out of cleaning, but it sure makes cleaning more fun! I've used it to clean my kitchen and bathrooms. It works great on faucets and around sinks and tubs, but will not remove hard water stains. If I allow it to heat at least 10 minutes before using it, the steam is much hotter and I have better results. I've also cleaned mirrors and windows with it, but found that drying them with newspapers works better than the squeegee that came with it. Overall, I'm very pleased with it and would certainly recommend it for a small, inexpensive steamer.
Customer Review: Love it love it love it! Summary: 5 Stars
I absolutely love this steamer!! I saw an infomercial for another steamer and decided to research them. So the other one got horrid reviews and after a little research I found this little dream machine that was a great price and got great reviews. So I took a chance and let me tell ya I hate cleaning and this not only made cleaning fun but cleaned my stove top, my oven, my bird cage (blech hate cleaning the bird cage), my floor under my stove, my windows, my sink, track for sliding glass door that gets disgusting - all like brand freakin new. It's amazing and the price makes it even more spectacular. I highly recommend!
Customer Review: Are we reviewing the same machine? Summary: 1 Stars
My hopes were completely dashed. Reading these glowing reviews, I just knew I had found the answer to cleaning the grout in my tile flooors. Wrong. It did NOTHING except spray some steam, and it did that with very puny pressure.
When I looked up the seller's return policy, it shows a restocking fee for any opened merchandise whatsoever--they probably count on no one returning a $20 item. Not only that, but the seller put no contact info on the sales slip--NONE. I had to go back to the order to hunt them down.
This is the kind of appliance you get for $20, and I should have known better.
Customer Review: Not great, ok for a small steamer Summary: 3 Stars
I have yet to see a small steamer that produces steam hot enough to really clean. With both this one and the Shark, I was able to put my hand directly in the steam and feel only mildly warm steam. It's ok for mirrors and windows (but takes a lot more time and elbow grease), however does not clean bathroom or kitchen appliances well at all and is not worth all the time and effort. Invisible glass or Sparkle is much better for glass and takes half the time. If you want a REAL steam cleaner, you're going to have to get a larger one that costs a lot more......the small ones just aren't effective.

This works great on some messes such as dry toothpaste in the sink and soap gunk in the soap dish. Doesn't do a good job on the stainless steel sink. Using lime away is way faster and easier. It was fun to use, so I cleaned a bunch of stuff I wouldn't normally try cleaning. Be careful of the tip, it's metal and gets very hot, I burned my finger. Also be really careful when adding more water, it steams all over the place and burned my hand. Keep small kids back, the water splattered a lot when adding more to it. The tank itsn't very big, so you have to keep refilling it, that was a pain.
