i ordered this tube after i saw one at a car dealership and remembered mine that i used to have in college that someone stole.i had a neon green one that glowed in a blacklight.this one is more of a grassy green and im not sure if it glows in a blacklight or not.overall id say it a good peice of entertainment to lay around the office or home.I gave it a four because its green and not red like the picture says even though i read the review before i bought it that told me that i think they should update the pic and color of it since their selling it to people.so they dont get someone who didnt read the reviews and actually wanted redCustomer Review: This thing is cool!

My neices and nephew love this thing. Just like the oil/sand timers but it has goo. Mine was a really nice dark blue. It runs a little slow but goo is supposed to ooze so we put it in sun to warm it up and it flows even better. Built really well, it is heavier than most of this type of thing and very smooth sides so no surprise this got dropped more than the others. Even with all the drops it has no leaks, cracks, scratches, nothing. This is great for kids and adults.Customer Review: Too Cool!

I like having stuff around my house that people can pick up and play with. They know they will be severly beaten for fooling with my musical instruments, so this provides an outlet for itchy fingers. It is basically a non-electric lava lamp, that you turn over like a sand filled hour glass. I was lucky (you get no choice of color) I received one with a deep raspberry (my favorite) colored goo. They make a smaller version, but this one catches the light nicely.Customer Review: ALMOST exactly what I wanted

This is almost exactly what I wanted. My only complaint is that you can't pick which color you wanted. This is identical to the one I got for a gift years ago, except the one I had years ago was yellow(my preferred color) The container material is very clear and had no extra tint in the acrylic or whatever plastic it is made of. I only wish I could pick the color.

My son has a learning disability and this sort of toy/aide is very helpful. He has serious issues with focusing and he enjoys watching the slow green go pass from one side to the other. It is amusing as well as helpful. The shipping was a killer (appx same as the product) but it did come right away and it was worth it.
