I was recently diagnosed with a very rare, aggressive form of arthritis in my fingers and was afraid that gardening; along with many other activities; would not be possible this summer. I received these pruners about 3 weeks ago and am completely amazed at how easily they work even with my weak, painful fingers.
Along with my "bionic" garden gloves the ratchet feature of the pruners has allowed me to shape the branches of all of my spring-flowering shrubs. I love working in my yard and keeping the greenery looking nice; and this tool lets me cut through branches nearly an inch thick!
I have recommended this item to many friends and relatives; whether they have issues with hand strength or not.
