I bought and installed these brown gutter guards last spring and by the end of summer 90% of them were warped and coming off the gutters. The package claimed they were UV resistant. That was obviously a blatent lie by the manufacturer! For reference, I live in the St. Louis area. I have a brown roof. Parts of my roof get shade from large trees during different times of the day. Most of the damage ocurred on south facing gutters, but that didn't stop a few of the north facing ones to fail miserably as well... Typical cheap Chinese junk. Maybe the white ones would be ok, but brown absorbs way too much heat.
