It comes preassembled--a big plus--so all you need to do is mount it to the wall with four screws, which are included. Also, the hose guide helps you wind without tangles, and the snap hook holds the hose end when it's not in use. On the downside, we found the construction a little rickety and the turning action a bit stiff. If you're going to be winding and unwinding your hose frequently, you might want a more polished product, but for light use, this product will keep your hose from rusting in the garden or tripping you up in the garage.
