Customer Review: Power Cord didn't survive a day

The installation went really easily. Everything fits perfectly and logically. The only problem is that the power cord lasted all of 5 minutes. Literally I plugged it in, tested it out, came back 5 minutes later and the light was no longer flashing. I put batteries in it and it worked fine again so it has to be the cord. Tried, unplugging it for a few minutes, tested the outlet, etc. The transformer doesn't even get warm when plugged in. If this is any indication of how the rest of this product performs it's more likely to cause a flood than prevent one.
