We bought three of these for our apartment and they worked great. Easy to assemble and they provide a great amount of light for a room. We brought them with us when we moved into our new house and they still are great lights for any room. They look great and nobody would guess the shade was plastic unless you touch it. I brought this lamp with not much expectation as the price is not much. When I opened the box I was happy to see the heavy body of the Lamp. The Lamp also looks good, but when I tried to fit a bulb in the Lamp, the switch broke down and the Lamp is no more working. I wish the internals of the Lamp were as durable as the body appears.Customer Review: Great for the Price

Excellent for the price! Goes together firmly and works. (You may or may not need a wrench to adjust something. One lamp needed some adjustment and the other did not.)
The base isn't very firm on whatever you put it on; adding explicit feet to transfer weight to the edges would have helped.

I ordered 2 of these lamps because there were 3 reviews that were all very positive. No one who has seen this lamp could honetly say that it doesn't look cheap. It's very short for a floor lamp. I can see down into the lamp when I stand up. They looked so bad that I threw them out.Customer Review: You Get What You Pay For

This lamp was priced at a steal, and it looks a little cheap. However, it lights up a room well, and for what I paid for it, I'm very happy with the purchase. You will be too if you don't go into it thinking you're getting something that can pass for any kind of elegant.
