I love this product. I saw it in Handyman magazine, and bought 3 for my kitchen. Now all of my appliances sit right at the wall, and it's easier to hide all the cord mess. Easy to install and a great value. They look nice, too.
Description of Arlington DVFR1W-1 Recessed Electrical/Outlet Mounting Box, Single Gang
This white single gang recessed electrical box can be installed in new construction via parked screws. The recessed design allows you 110v cables to sit flush with the wall, which allows other devices (TV, stereo, etc.) to lay flush against this plate saving you room and clutter. Fits 1/4 to 1 1/2 inch drywall via two sturdy wings or screws to a stud for new installation.
