I got this for my troy bilt 42 inch 2 blade riding mower, the directions are simple to follow,had it installed in 5 minutes, connected it to the garden hose, started the mower, turned on the blade, and it cleaned in just a couple of minutes, without getting grass clippings all over me. If you want to keep the mower deck and blades clean by connecting the hose and sitting on the mower with the blades running for a few minutes (thats all there is to it) this is the product for you.
Description of Arnold 490-900-0025 MTD Riding Lawn Mower Deck Wash Kit
Fits all 2005 and after MTD decks. Remove plug, insert fitting and coupling and attach garden hose. Engage blades to create a cyclone of water inside deck to remove grass accumulation. 38'' and 42'' decks require 1 kit, 46'', 50'', and 54'' decks require 2 kits.The Arnold Deck wash kit keeps lawnmower decks clean and in good repair. This wash kit fits all MTD (YardMan, YardMachines) riding lawnmower and tractor decks 2005 and after. Simply remove the plug in the deck, insert the fitting and coupling, then attach the garden hose. Engage the blades to create a cyclone of water inside the deck. Only one kit is required for 38- and 42-inch decks; two kits are required for 50- and 54-inch decks.
