Love these hooks. These have changed everything. They are the perfect hanger. They simply poke into the wall and remove leaving the smallest nail size hole. I know it sounds stupid but I love these things! They seem a bit expensive but are worth it. They make my life easier and that is surely worth the cost. It is hard to get excited over a hook in the wall but these things are amazing. So simple yet so perfect for the job they do. Totally easy to use and works exactly as demo..which is amazing in and of itself.
Haven't used the laser, since I've always done pretty well eyeballing when hanging so can't rec or not.
Very easy to insert into wall and easy to remove also. I still find a nail is fine for small pictures but for the bigger ones, I no longer have to ask for help as it really does hold the weight and does exactly as it says. (Quite strange in these days...for that it should get five stars alone.)

The drywalls in my house apparently have some insulation blown into them, and I could not get the hooks to work. I finally did get one in place and hung a medium large picture on it, and it failed. Far short of the maximum weight on the package. In all fariness the walls were not the right kind of walls and I think whey would work fine for small and medium pics. The laser tool that was included is neat and I used it for all of my pictures, which I had to hang with other hardware.Customer Review: Step aside hammer & nails!

The Hercules Hooks are easy to use and leave a much smaller hole in the wall than nails - which would be good for renters - or those of us who just redecorate often. I love that I will no longer have to go on the dreaded search for the hammer in the garage. My mother-in-law and I were able (with a little more muscle than needed for drywall) to get these into paneled walls in her home. I would recommend these without hesitation and will certainly buy them again in the very near future.
