Customer Review: Painful Hooks

My boyfriend and I just moved to an apartment and we thought using these hooks would cause less damage to the walls. WRONG! They were hard to get into the walls by twisting "Like a key." My boyfriend got blisters from putting a few in the walls. At one point we decided to move something from one side of the wall to the other and when we took out the hook, it left a pretty big hole, definitely not pin size! Overall, I think these things suck! Hercules Hooks 20 Pack with Free Bonus Laser Marker
I am in a new house and have sheetrock walls for the first time. These hooks have done the job from hanging pots and pans in my pantry, a bulletin board in my office, to pictures and clocks on the walls. The only time I ran into a problem was when I ran into a stud or a brace.
This is the first time a product like this -- I thought a worthless gimmick -- has met what it said it would do.

My Husband and I were a little unsure of the Hercules Hooks. They seemed to good to be true. But with a new house and alot of pictures to hang we thought we would give them a try. I was able to hang all of the pictures in our entire house (30 plus pictures) by myself in about 15 min. Super Easy!!!! I will be buying more of these to have on hand for future purchases. Everyone should give these a try, I know you will be as pleased as we are.Customer Review: Great little hooks!!!

I have a lot of heavy mirrors and pictures, I also have many big holes in my walls because I change things around often. I bought these hooks after patching up the big holes from screws, nails, anchors, etc. I must say I am very happy with this product. They are very easy to use and it just took me seconds to hang a very big picture. Now I won't feel so bad when I change things up because the hole left in the wall is minimal.Customer Review: Great Product.

These hooks work great and leave a very small hole in relation to the amount of weight they hold. The only reason I did not give five stars is because of one improvement that would make these perfect. The part of the hook that sticks out of the wall and shows would look nicer if they made it more decorative looking or at least more finished looking. Other than that they are great and my husband and I plan to use them more.
