Customer Review: Drains batteries very quickly

This product gives off a nice soft light, but the batteries do not last long at all. We use it as an overnight/night light in the kitchen, and the next morning after installing it, it was off. So by the time you replace the batteries a half dozen times, less than a month at this rate, it already costs more to run the unit than to buy it, which is pretty frustrating. If the company offers an AC adaptor I will be purchasing that for it, but that kind of defeats the purpose of getting a cordless unit in the first place.
