Customer Review: Very Poor Quality

We bought this a little over a year ago and from the get go it gave us trouble. While it did compost things, it's incredibly difficult to turn and few times we had to remove about 1/2 the compost out onto a tarp to let it dry out. After about 6 months the whole contraption started to buckle under the weight of the compost and at this point we have to prop things against the sides to keep it from falling a part. The door is pretty much useless and impossible to close once it's been opened. Not worth the money!!Customer Review: Good for amateur composters

I mainly bought this composter to reduce the amount of garbage my husband and I send to the landfill; therefore, I wasn't as interested in the quality of the compost. That said, after 4 months of use, there is very little upkeep required, and our food continues to degrade quickly. The resulting dirt also looks very dark and rich. My only quip about the composter is that it's difficult to slide the door up and down, even after applying vegetable oil. This composter comes with about 30 pieces, which require assembly. Putting it together was a bit of a challenge, but once it's finished you can start composting. (Make sure that all of the logo stamps in the back are facing the same way.) The side door sticks, so beware. Also, there is no bottom to this unit. The lid secures very tightly, so you don't have to worry about squirrels or other animals trying to get into the box. This product is made in Canada!Customer Review: making composting easy

So far I have been happy with this product. When I originally received it, I was a little disappointed that the plastic it is made out of seemed a little thin (i.e. cheap). But, it was easy to put together and so far has been easy to use and it is definitely working! This is my first season, so I don't know how it will hold up to the weather through the winter but I'm hopeful it will help make my garden a good one next year!Customer Review: Easy to assemble!

Even though we live in Las Vegas, we really wanted to have a small garden to grow our own vegetables. We looked around for quite some time for the right composter and this one really is great. It fits perfectly in the corner, doesn't take much room, and was very easy to assemble. We haven't utilize the compost yet; but are definitely looking forward to having rich dark fertilizer to use for our garden.
