Tools and Hardware Reviews of Howard Leight MAX1 Earplugs Uncorded NRR33 Box/200 PairCustomer Review: Difficult to fit, can cause inflamation Summary: 2 StarsTo insert these plugs you have to roll them well, which makes them longer, where they can reach quite deep in the ears. This is usually not recommended by doctors. They take a while until they are shaped by the ear, then they should be fine. However, they could exert pressure on the ear during this period, which could be more than a minute. This has caused me pressure on that ear for more than 12 hours.
Customer Review: super Summary: 5 StarsI've worn these for about four years mostly for motorcycle riding but also for trying to sleep in the same room as my snoring buddies on hunting trips, and a couple times with my circular saw.
These are the most comfortable, most silence inducing plugs I've ever used. Just as a warning though, these aren't miracle workers: because they seal well and are snug (in just about any ear canal) I think your ear will end up a little tender, but it's easily worth the incredible reduction in decibels. And these plugs are much much more comfortable than any others I've tried.
Customer Review: Best Foam Ear Plugs On The Market Summary: 5 StarsI have been wearing ear plugs for over 28 years and these are by far the best I have used. They hold their shape long enough to get them into the ear canal and they're very comfortable. I use them for motorcycle riding and they block out wind and excessive engine noise while still allowing me to easily hear horns and sirens. I highly recommend these ear plugs. The 200-pack comes in a nice cardboard dispenser box.
Customer Review: Comfort and quiet Summary: 5 StarsThe earplugs are amazingly quiet. I wear them when I ride my motorcycle. I can easily wear them for hours. I gave a set to my Harley-riding buddy an he was amazed. He immediately for another pair so his wife could also enjoy them.
I wore them one night while I slept in a noisy environment a few weeks ago and I enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep without any ear discomfort.
The easiest way to put them in correctly is to roll the middle and top sections while leaving a small ball on the bottom and slide them right into your ear canal.
I have put a few pairs in my motorcycle to give to my friends.
Customer Review: soft Summary: 5 StarsThese are the best ear plugs. They are soft and comfortable to wear, I wear them all day, and they also do a good job of softening the sounds of a job-site. I have tried several others and like these the best.
