I first discovered the Edge Brownie pan while thumbing through a Sky Mall catalog on a recent flight. Since it looked like something my brownie-edge-craving family might enjoy, I was delighted to find it at a lower price on Amazon, so we decided to give it a try.
I was a bit concerned on my first trial because the standard box of brownie mix did not seem to sufficiently fill the pan. However, after smoothing the batter into all of the channels, and cooking it for the full time recommended on the box of mix, the brownies filled the pan to perfection.
Two side-effect adjustments made necessary by the excellent non-stick surface were 1) it requires just a misting of spray cooking oil; not the standard amount required by other pans. Otherwise the spray beads up in the pan. And 2), press-and-stick wrap will not adhere to the surface of the pan, so if you want to keep the brownies moist, it helps to wrap the covering completely around the pan, or take them out of the pan and cover them on a plate -- but then you lose the conversation-starting value of the pan.
Bottom Line: It really works!

Pan works great. We always used to fight for the corner brownies when I was growing up (I'll use that term loosely!). Now they are all like corner brownies... they all have at least 2 edges.
Some people complained about the pan scratching, but I think they are just idiots. If you use the little plastic spatula that COMES WITH THE PAN then it doesn't scratch. I even use the spatula to cut all the brownies while they are still warm. That way you don't need to use a knife later.
The pan itself is very well made. Much heavier than I expected. Perhaps that is the secret to the good edges... the heavy pan heats up evenly.
I bought 2 pans - 1 for my Dad on Father's Day and one for my sister. They both thought they were great (they had brownies in them when I gave them to them so I made 2 batches and then ate one (or 5) brownies out of them). And now I have a pan we got as a wedding gift and we have made 3 batches in that one too.
I fully recommend this pan to ALL who used to fight for the corner brownie! (but beware, the pan might be bad for your waistline!)

I was looking for a neat gift for our neice who just got married. I thought this would be good for lots of dish's that everyone loves the brown edges. I ordered one for our neice, one for my daughter-in-law, and of cource one for my wife!(that way I get to use it too!
The edge pan is all that it say's and more!The first thing My wife cooked was cornbread. It was awesome!of course the brownies were next and they too were great! "just a reminder" The edge pan cooks evenly. what ever you are cooking gets done faster! WATCH AND CHANGE YOUR RECIPE ACCORDINGLY!
Try it and you will just love it! It is our choice gift for the season. So if you are on our gift list,"gess what your getting." It's something that will last a lifetime and can be passed down for generations to come.
Just think of the lushous cheese and mac , Loaf's, Italian dishes, "all the one's you love the edge pan peice's." If you don't like it, just send it our way! But if you try it, you will love it!We will have to invest in another one or two to fit our needs.

I have to admit that I am not an edge brownie fan--I always will pull from the middle of the dish if possible. I was a skeptic until I ate my first cookie bar out of this pan. Even if you are not an edge fan, you will be a fan of this pan because it is the PERFECT solution for the uneven baking problem. I no longer have to throw away the edge corner brownies that are hard and that no one in my house will eat. I just bake the dish for slightly less time and I have no wasted pieces. I am and continue to be amazed at the quality of baking this pan provides. Not only is it the highest quality in construction but allows me to make dishes that are evenly baked and present nicely...EVERY TIME! Guests at my house get excited when they see that I have been baking in my Baker's Edge pan and I no longer have conventional 13X9 pans in my kitchen because the pan allows me the versatility of baking other things as well. Even if you are not an edge brownie fan or if you are also a skeptic...you MUST try this pan. I am confident that you will be the next one writing your review.Customer Review: HOT PAN! This Bakers Edge brownie (or bars) pan is a heavy duty nonstick wonder, but it needs far LESS time to bake than other pans! Using the "metal pan" directions on the box, bake 1/3 less time - they'e probably done! (This pan overbakes easily, especially if preheated.) For instance the Ghirardelli brownie box says 45 min (at 325) for metal pans, and 30 minutes was plenty! Remember: "fresh baked brownies appear underbaked but cool to doneness." Wash this pan by placing the hot pan in a sink of water, letting it soak a few minutes, then simply brushing out the sections. (Never use soap, or put it in the dishwasher.) Then set the pan in the hot oven to dry and be ready for the next time.
Before baking, I also heat the brownie pan in the preheating oven, spray the hot pan inside, and fill it immediately. This cuts down the cooking time, but, most of all, the brownies plop right out after they have cooled a few minutes, no utensil needed!
