What isn't apparent online: This bakware is heavy duty. It's also nonstick (great for brownies)which means that it is not dishwasher safe. The channels are somewhat narrow and conventional spatulas don't fit in them but this item comes with it's own little black spatula that is narrow enough to go in the channels! Works exactly as advertised. Make sure to read the instructions carefully because the first brownies cooked quite fast and were a little too crunchy. Instruction manual comes with brownie recipes but the pan is designed to accomodate store-bought brownie mixes too.
Overall great product if you like crunchy brownies and are willing to wash this baby by hand. I gave it 4 stars because it seemed a little overpriced.

Excellent. This pan is excellent. It makes excellent brownies. You can make excellent brownies with excellent edges in this excellent brownie pan. It is excellent for making tasty and excellent brownies. You can invite friends and family over to eat your excellent brownies from this excellent brownie pan. They will think the brownies are excellent and ask you about your excellent brownie pan. This excellent brownie pan is also excellently portable and can be taken with you to make excellent brownies at someone else's house, or at church. It is excellent. Wow what can I say? This item has rekindled my love for baking. Soon as I got it, I hand washed it and put it to the test with brownies from scratch. As another reviewer mentioned, it takes some doing to distribute the "batter" evenly. Great workout if you use heavy pyrex like I do to mix stuff. Anyhow, the brownies came out wonderfully. I love edges.
Next I tried banana bread and those came out even better.
Love it. I'll try some casserole. This thing is built to last. I'm surprised by the heft. Just do what the insert says and only handwash and never use a scouring pad. Most of the burnt stuff eventually flake off after some soaking. Soon as it goes on sale again, I'll buy a few for gifts.

My son saw this pan advertised in an in-flight magazine and mentioned it to the family while home from college. Everyone, especially my wife, was excited (I was excited because they were - I prefer the soft center cuts). I searched for it on the internet and, of course, Amazon was selling it for much less. My son purchased it as a Christmas present for his mother. She was delighted and it works as a advertised, producing perfect brownies with edge cuts in every bite. Everybody is happy, but me, as I am just not an edge man. But I am happy because everybody else is and because I'm more healthy for eating fewer brownies. One product negative; my wife says it is not dishwasher safe and so I'll be washing it by hand.Customer Review: Wish I'd thought of this

I've been seeing these for years in the skymall magazines and always wished I'd thought of it. Finally ordered the pan with some of my Amazon card credits and it's great! Much heavier duty than I expected, so you're paying for a very heavy pan and not just the great idea. Brownies do cook a minute or two faster than usual, but it's not as big a difference as I expected given the increase in edge contact.
This pan also makes it easier to add nuts to only some of the brownies after you fill the pan since the line between the boy and girl brownies is now only a couple of inches, and not the width of the pan.
Highly recommended unless you don't like edge brownies.
