I did alot of searching on the internet and in stores trying to find one that worked for my whole house and looked like a nice piece of furniture..this one is perfect.
The cabinet is just beautiful so no complaints there at all.
My son sleeps so much better now, he makes sure it is full before he goes to bed!
The air in our home feels cleaner and lighter somehow. We live in a dry climate so I will be using this humidifier year round. No more static electricity making my hair fly up or zapping us when we touch something!
I do wish it were quieter on the higher settings, but the low one is fine anyhow and it shuts off automatically when the humidity is at a good level.
Love it love it love it!

This is the second one I ordered. The first arrived with a crack about a foot long in the back right corner. There was no packing material in the box and I was concerned about ordering a replacement. I did get a replacement and very quickly, luckily it arrived in perfect condition. The unit functions quite well. The only thing that I don't like it the refill for the bottle is on the end so you have to use a hose (included) to refill it. This makes it difficult to fill at the sink so now I have to fill it in the tub. That may not be convenient for others. All in all its a good unit but only time will tell how long the motor will last. Mine has to run 24 hrs. a day from October to May, we will see if it can foot the bill.Customer Review: Amazon boo boo for the replacement evaporative wick

Since I live in the middle of nowhere on the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee, I orderd a replacement evaporative wick so I don't have a crisis when the time to replace happens. The present Amazon product description says a replacment wick #1041 will work, but it only kinda does. One has to use duct tape or glue to remanufacture it to replace what came with the unit. I called the vendor, and the person I spoke with said the proper replacement wick was #1045, which I ordered through the vendor. Then I called Amazon customer service to try correct the error in the present advertising, hopefully to help others avoid my aggrevation. By customer reviews, I see at least one other has had the same aggrevation. Anyway, good luck.Customer Review: Broken after 1.5 years.

Bought this about a year and a half ago. On anything but low it was fairly loud when it was new -- on high it was as loud as any air conditioner I've ever heard. But after about a year it started getting louder -- the spindle that the fan is on started becoming loose, and about a month ago it's just become deafening and even starting to smell like it's rubbing and will start to burst into flame or something. I mean this is just a large box that holds water and a wick you have to replace -- the fan is the only thing to it! And for it to be bad this quickly (but naturally far outside of the warranty period...) is just a sign of poor product, especially for the price you pay.Customer Review: satisfactory

We live in Colorado, so I needed something bigger, more industrial than a table top design that would really get us some moisture. The finish is ok - plastic. The controls simple to use. The large water tank was mandatory. This fits most of our requirements, however I don't recall seeing one single review that commented on how LOUD the blasted thing is. Definately can not have this unit running at medium or high speed in any living space. The noise aside, it appears to be working quite well at humidifying our entire home.
Would I recommend this product? Maybe. Would I buy it again? Probably not if I could find a similar unit with less noise.
