Can nirvana be achieved through a paper towel holder?
I think so - especially after this thing got my wife's seal of approval.
Wonderfully strong non-marking magnets make this the ideal get-out-of-way paper towel dispenser.
I would adivse keeping it away from small pets and children if they are wearing any metal!

We have a smaller kitchen that we remodeled and needed to update our paper towel holder. This is a serious kitchen item and we needed it to be handy, but not be plastic, or take up too much counter space. We mounted the magnetic towel holder to the side of our new stainless refrigerator and it looks fine and is very handy.
Good purchase.

The magnets are strong and no worry about it slipping or falling. It looks clean and saves counter space. Love the space and not having to drill holes anywhere. I'm happy with this purchase.
The cardboard paper towel tube is tough to get off this holder. I have to take the whole thing off the fridge to work it off.

In our kitchen the holder has to be installed in a rather awkward location. The magnets pivot on the holder and if it is placed "backward" the magnets stay in place but the rest of the holder comes with the towel that you're trying to tear off. It needs to be made reversible or be made with 'right' and 'left' hand models.Customer Review: Magnetic Paper Towel Holder

I was concerned about the ability of the magnets to hold, but they work great! Not a problem at all. One thing to consider is it is open on one end to slide the roll on, so if you are forced to hang it with the open side out the roll will want to slide off if you pull the paper toward you instead of down.
