Customer Review: Not a Poltergeist

I have had the Clear Choice Dispenser II for over 8 years, it has there for me faithfully every morning, day in, day out. It clears the clutter, and saves soap since it always dispenses what I ask for--no more, no less. I can rinse and repeat if so inclined. No more fumbling and dropping shampoo bottles on my foot. I could not ask for more.
About 3AM one morning last week my wife and I were awakened by a horrifying crash, tinkle--the sound of a broken window or clay pot being smashed. Scared, we walked around the entire house to find the cause of the sound. Nothing. Could not find anything out of place, inside or outside. No broken flower pots, no prowling raccoons; no bricks through smashed windows. Now even more scared--was it all in my mind? Did we share a dream sound? Was this the beginning of a poltergiest infestation, should we have really dismissed that old indian burial ground clause in the property disclosure?
After a fitful remaining sleep, we awoke for the new day. Still tiptoeing around, ready for the next whatever to drop. As I stepped into the shower to get a cold awakening blast, the tears of relief mixed with sorrow started. There, in pieces at the drain, were the shards of the Clear Choice Dispenser II, formerly brim full of store-brand Pantene and ocean-fresh shower gel. It had given up the ghost, so to speak; slipped the surly bonds of silicone and crashed to the ground. But in the grand scheme we were safe. Reality prevails. On to a new day.
So now I gotta buy a new one.
