Customer Review: Helpful for reducing clutter

I was looking for something to help remove some of the bottles that were cluttering up my shower when I bought this.
The first thing I noticed about it was that it included both tape and glue for mounting. The instructions say that the tape is only there to hold until the glue is dry. I wasn't thrilled thinking about glue and tape holding up the weight of 4 bottles worth of shampoo and body wash, but already had it at home so pressed on (I was however glad that I didn't have to nail or screw anything into my shower). After having this mounted in my shower for more than 5 years now, there is no problem with the glue being able to hold the weight necessary.
An item of note, I don't like how there was only one of each sticker included. My wife and I both use this, and we each have our own body wash, but only 1 body wash sticker was included.
As for the actual operation of the unit, it works exactly like you would expect. Push the button and receive a metered amount of shampoo, etc. It will dispense anything liquid, although the thicker it is, the more pumps you may need to get what you feel is necessary.
It is nice for getting everything out of the bottle. When it's time to fill it I will take the cap off and turn the bottle upside down into the unit and let it drain over night to get everything out. It's easier than trying to balance some of the newer bottles of shampoo upside down with crazy shaped caps that will not let you do that. Also I find that since we got it we now go through our soaps at a slower rate. Rather than just filling up your hand, you can actually meter the amount which makes things last longer. If you use an expensive product that might make a difference in the long run.
Finally I must mention that after 5 years I ended up ordering a second one. 2 of the 4 pumps broke on my original one. One of them would just let anything flow through regardless of if you pressed the button or not. The other did the exact opposite where no matter how much you pumped it, nothing would come out. Both of the offending pumps were used to dispense dove products. (The body wash has little beads in it that may have interfered after a while, and the conditioner was just really thick and ended up pushing the seal out of the way which just allowed everything to leak out.)
Overall I really like the product. It did quit on me, but it took about 5 years. I do feel there was enough value to it to justify buying a replacement.
