Description of Rust Remover 5" x 9" Presaturated Evaporust Wipes, 20 Count

A water-based, non-toxic liquid that REMOVES RUST from ferrous metals without harming surrounding materials, people or the environment. Cleaning of rust occurs by selective chelation, a natural chemical process which removes iron molecules selectively from iron oxide. EVAPO-RUSTTM also PREVENTS RUST when clean steel or alloy is dipped, then allowed to dry. EVAPO-RUST has won two coveted awards in 2001: named as one of the "Top 100 Inventions" by Research and Development magazine, as well as one of three awards for "Outstanding New Technology in Industrial Cleaning" by Cleaning Technology magazine.
