I would highly recommend this heater. Prior to this purchase, I owned a Pelonis oil-filled heater that looks like a radiator - it broke down in less than a year and was far to costly to have repaired - what a piece of junk. Anyway, the Bionaire heat is magnificent. Its not very noisy at all, heats the room very quickly, and the twisting position system is quite effective. For instance, it took about 20 min to heat a room 10'x12' several degrees, whereas my old oil-filled heater took 30 min just to get warm and another hour to raise the temperature just 1-2 degrees (using the same amount of power). I am very pleased at my purchase. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an excellent heater.Customer Review: bonaire heater

this was a replacement for an older heater that was almost alike. My wife loved the original heater and so did I because it wasn't too ugly and it was quiet. Previous heaters were very noisy. This was new and improved but really they just added
complication. They included a very unneccessary remote control so you have one more stupid remote to loose. If you don't use the remote you have to cycle through all the settings to turn it off. This is really a drag. If I had known this I would
not have purchased it. If you can stand the stupid remote it is a good heater.

I searched for this particular heater via the Internet and found that it was likely a discontinued Bionaire item. I was so happy to be able to locate one through Amazon! It fits perfectly on my bathroom counter under the window sill. It's various heat settings are easily controlled using the remote. The 2 sections can be directed to blow heat at different angles for those nippy morning showers. Love it! Just barely picked up the unit and the remote didn't work. The remote wouldn't allow me to not only switch the unit to auto, it didn't switch from celsius to fahrenheit either. You might not think that is so bad except the unit beeps once every 2 seconds until the remote is synced up with it. So $50 later I was left with a beeping heater that really doesn't put out that much heat anyway.Customer Review: Not good

My unit had shut itself off for no reason several times. This is a huge problem, since I woke up in a freezing room. Other problems: loud popping noises when it stops heating, no rotation limits the coverage, remote isbadly designed. I am returning it.
