I bought 2 of these to chase away my neighbors dogs. Put 1 in front of house ...Still dog poop deposits on my lawn..Does it work? I don't thing so. Put 2nd one in backyard..Squirrels laugh at it as they move about and could care less. Neighbors dogs don't seem to mind it either. Soooooooo I don't think it works. The only time it seems to bother an animal is when you turn it on and off. You hear an audible "Chirp" and that gets everyones attention.

After much effort and expense to rid my yard of my neighbor's (5!) cats, one persisted in spraying my doorstep as often as I would wash it away. I installed the YardGuard at a moderate setting, and it reduced the tagging to about once a week. A few weeks later, I reset it to the maximum sensitivity, and it seems to have done the trick. I can now hear it myself, if I stand within a couple feet of it, but that is rare. Now, have you got a machine to make my neighbor go away?Customer Review: Yard Gard Miracle

I bought 4 of these units. I had a skunk under my shed, racoons on my roof, rabbits, squirrels you name it I had it! After I put these around my house in broad daylight the skunk came out in 2 minutes from under my shed and never came back!
I hadn't seen any wildlife in 3 weeks since I used yard guard! I'm definitely a happy lady again. No more nasty pests causing damage to my property!
You must get these units if you have a problem.

I set up the product on my deck a couple of weeks ago to rid us of a family of raccoons and a bunch of ferile cats that keep coming onto the deck to poop.
The first few days it seemed to work since there was no sign of them having visited. One night last week a raccoon left a large poo on the deck right behind the YardGard so I'm not sure the product works. Will continue to use it and see what happens. People tell me that nothing works against raccoons.

This product does not work. I have it in my backyard where my container vegetable garden is. A butterfly will set it off, so it makes that loud beep all day. The racoons still raid my garden late at night. I watched the squirells dug up my peas, the YardGuard kept going off, the squirells kept on digging. The stray cats goes to sleep in front of this product. If I could find my receipt, I would have returned it. Get a can of pebbles and practice your aim.
