We had Squirrels in our attic.
I set a Bird X YG Yard Gard up there, and the Squirrels left and have not come back.
I am 84 years old, and one of the complaints that I read about the product was that some people were annoyed by it's noise. Older people cannot hear higher frequencies. I couldn't hear the thing and was affraid that it was not working. Apparently, the Squirrels heard it and left. Good show!

I bought this in July and now in August I'm told by Amazon that its too late to return it. I'm stuck with a device that does absolutely NO GOOD in repelling rabbits from my front lawn. I held the device up and rotated the frequency controls aiming it at rabbits 20 feet away and they just stood there, it did NOTHING to repel them from the yard. I don't know what good it does for anything. My advise: look for something else. It's not worth even $40!!!Customer Review: Dance of the Squirrels

It's always been me vs the squirrels near our bird feeders. So it was with great anticipation that I install this deterrent of last resort. It was with amazement that the following Saturday morning I saw three squirrels dancing around the deck about three feet from the Bird-X YG Gard. I adjusted the settings, and they were back for more fun and frivolity. And it continues. So at this point, I must say this product does not work as advertised.Customer Review: A WASTE OF MONEY !

I PURCHASED 2 "YARDGURAD ANIMAL & PEST REPELLERS" IN MAY 2008. MY HOPES WERE THAT THEY WOULD KEEP THE RACCOONS FROM EATING FROM OUR BIRDFEEDERS. THESE THINGS DO NOT PHASE THEM AT ALL !! I EVEN PLACED THE REPELLERS 2-3 FT FROM THE FEEDERS IN THE FLOWER GARDEN AND WE STILL WATCHED THE RACCOONS EAT TIL THEIR HEART'S CONTENT. MAYBE THE REPELLERS WILL WORK ON OUR DEER PROBLEM IN THE WINTER, BC THEY SURELY ARE NOT BOTHERING THE RACCOONS !Customer Review: Animal repeller

1. Vendor forget to provide the instruction but sent junk ads a lot. Needs to request the instruction by phone.
2. The metal ends of battery compartment corroded.
3. Post and attachment stuffs were excluded. Customers need to get them from garage or hardware store.
3. Needs trial & error several times to set up the frequency and post location to successfully repel dogs.
4. Using the A/c power source works.
