As some of the other reviews stated, it did take several days to deter the hungry little cotton tails. Unfortunatly my 15 year old son can NOT stand it!! He and all his friends can hear it loud and clear. Good thing it is in my front yard. Several of my neighbors have inquired about it. it worked great for a couple months the speaker stopped working called customer service asked if I could buy a replacement speaker told to buy a complete new unit I use this for my pond. I would not buy this again this unit should not fail under normal operation so quickly went to Radio Shack to get part and fix myself.Customer Review: Convinced that it does not work

I read up on a series of reviews on the Bird-X YG Yard Gard Ultrasonic Animal Repeller. The reviews were mixed. I had to try it for myself given that cats were coming up to my soft-top convertible to spend the night. I am convinced now that the device does not work. I bought the two products. Unfortunately CatStop did not have any affect on the cats, they ignored it. Yard card come with frequency chooser, volume control, animal frequency map and mode of operation (movement sensitive (as CatStop) and continues operation). HI I GOT THIS ITEM TO TRY TO GET THE CANADIAN GEESE OUT OF MY YARD I DID NOT HAVE TIME TO SET IT UP OUT SIDE BUT THEY CAME AROUND AND I OPENED UP MY WINDOW AND TURNED IT ON BOY ONE OF THEM WANT NUTS AND THE TWO OF THEM LEFT. THIS IS MY FIRST TEST THE GEESE ARE ONLY AROUND IN SOUTH NEW JERSEY IN THE WINTER.
