Customer Review: White Trash Neighbors?...Finally A Solution!
Summary: 5 Stars

These work. Most important thing is placement. I purchased two. My neighbors dog's were using my yard as a restroom on a daily basis. My neighbors yard was poop free, mine was full of their dog's excrement. Across the street my neigbor has goats....they would get out and come eat my bushes(that I paid for). With these two devices placed at their normal routes of entry, they won't even come near my yard, they hate the sound. They actually sound off when the dogs are in my neighbors yard. They won't even look this way! I was very skeptical because of the mixed reviews. Safe and humane. They have great range. Turn them up to the highest setting so your neighbors hear them go off when they walk down their driveway!

Customer Review: Very poor quality
Summary: 1 Stars

I purchased two of these devices to keep local cats away from my birdfeeders. It was very difficult to remove the plastic back to install the batteries and adjust the settings. Once having removed the backs, it was vitually impossible to re-install them (and this would have to be done when ever the batteries needed changing). Having struggled through this process, one of the devices would cycle on and off and was only audible to my ears at the extreme low end setting. The other device stayed on constantly and was audible through the entire range of settings. Both devices were adjusted to the same settings. My frustration led me to return the devices, so I don't know whether they would have kept the cats away or not.

Customer Review: Seems to be working...
Summary: 4 Stars

We seem to be the only family on the block who doesn't have a dog so all the other dogs in the neighborhood decided ours is the pooping yard. In a short while, after we put this out on our front porch we decided it was working; no sudden shocking wafts of poopie-air on leaving the front door. The only thing weird about it is that one (very rainy) day it started making a nasty human-audible squealing sound; we had to grab it and pull the batteries out. Not sure if this is a "battery low" sound or what, but it was pretty bad. Otherwise, it seems worth the time and money we spent getting it here. No offensive smells lately. When we get a chance we'll change the batteries and see if that was the problem. Hope so.

Customer Review: Racoon repeller
Summary: 4 Stars

I have had problems with racoons eating the fish in a small pond nearly every night. I bought one of these units a year ago. At first the racoons kept on coming. After setting the unit at the lowest frequency (highest power) they stopped coming. It took about 3 weeks after setting the unit at the highest power before they quit coming. I just bought two more units to deter the racoons and birds from stripping our fruit trees. These units work, but you have to be patient while the racoons learn to avoid them. I do not yet know how well they work on birds.Bird-X YG Yard Gard Ultrasonic Animal Repeller

Customer Review: Neighbors dogs were using our yard as bathroom!
Summary: 4 Stars

We have 2 big dogs on our cul-de-sac that are always out! Our front yard always had their poo on it. I hated it. When someone new moved in across the street and asked if poop on her lawn was just to be expected I knew I had to do something. So I chose the yard guard. I have been using it for 1 month now. 1 dog has visited 1 time and I could tell he was trying to run off my lawn while going. It has also stopped the dogs for using the house across my street. Luckily they don't have a dog. I believe it is worth every penny. I gave it 4 stars, because when it is on motion detector it gives off a high pitched beep to tell it is turning off and it is a bit annoying. I have had to turn it on to constant sound.
