Customer Review: Very Disappointed!

While I am happy with the product itself, I feel it was poorly advertised. MOST mop replacement pads are packaged in a 2 pack, and that is what I thought I would be purchasing/receiving since that is what the picutre showed. However, when I received my order, it only contained ONE mop replacement pad. I thought this was slightly deceiving. I wrote a review and Go Vacuum immediately asked me to remove because they would like to resolve the problem with me and make things better by giving me a credit to my credit card AND and send me additional mop replacement pads. I did not ask for this thought it was very nice of them so I removed what I wrote. Over 2 months have gone by and I have not heard a word from them, have not received a credit on my credit card or received additional mop pads. The fact that GO Vacuum agreed with me saying that the product description could be misleading, asked me to remove negative feedback in exchange to rectify the problem and then never follow through on their end is unacceptable. you know how when you wash something cotton and air dry it, after that you can put it in the dryer? this theory does not apply to the mop pads. no. not at all.
you may have luck dampening the ubershrunken ones to get them on, but don't be like me and think, "oh, it's just that the drawstring shrunk. i'll cut it off!" because that, friends, is a bad idea.
this mop is basically the greatest invention since the gutenberg press, especially when paired with the dirt devil sweeper vac or some other stick vac+swiffer combo. hi, i am lazy and have a bunch of animals and these are a total dream. when i pick all the laundry up off the floor, i can actually get it clean in no time.
anyway, just bear in mind that AT NO TIME should these mop pads go in the dryer, however desperately you may want them dry.

I've been using the original green pads and the steam mop works great. I just bought these replacement pads so I can do the whole house in one day, if I wanted and they just aren't as good as the original ones that come with the Steam Mop. They don't fit as well (even wet), they tend to push dirt around instead of cleaning it, and I have to pass over a spot many more times than with the original pads. I still have the original pads and they work awesome. These replacement pads are still way better than getting on the floor and scrubbing by hand, so I gave them 3 stars, but Bissell should offer the great product they originally include.Customer Review: is this a knock-off?

I should have known. Other Bissell replacement mop heads are 2 for $19.99. This one was 2 for $9.99 so I thought I had stumbled on a good deal. It did ship promptly. The first time I used the new pad it got holes - YIKES! that's five dollars to wash the kitchen floor- waaay too exspensive. The question is: are these pads some kind of cheap knock-off? They look exactly like the pads that came with the Steam Mop as well as other replacement pads I've bought (but not from this vendor). My opinion is - don't buy these cheap pads the $19.99 ones last a lot longer.Customer Review: Replacement pads

These replacement pads were paired with the Bissell 1867-7 Steam Mop as a 'better together' deal. These covers are not the same as the ones that came with the mop. The ones that came with the mop have elastic around them, plus the draw string, which makes them easier to work with. The replacement covers seem smaller and do not have elastic so they are awkward to work with. Once you get them on, they work great but I'd be happier if the replacement covers would have been the same as the ones that came with the mop.
