Tools and Hardware Reviews of BISSELL Natural Sweep Dual Brush Sweeper, 92N0ACustomer Review: Just what I wanted! Summary: 5 Stars
This works like a charm! It cleans the crumbs off my rug AND my hardwood floor. I looked high and low for a sweeper that didn't require batteries or plugging in and this totally fit the bill. I'm very happy with how well it works.
I love how easy it is to clean out the pans that collect the crumbs and dirt that it picks up as it cleans. You just push down on the buttons on either side and it empties right into your garbage can. There's a pan release on both the front and back of the sweeper. You can even pull out the 2 rotating brushes (to pull out all the pesky hair that gets twisted around them) and put them back in - it's really easy!
As for the handle issue, as one reviewer noted, you MUST hammer together the two pieces as instructed. Problem solved.
I highly recommend this sweeper - it works well, it's quiet, it's easy to use. I've had mine for several months now and I love it!
Customer Review: Grandma's Gripe Summary: 1 Stars
Bissell Natural Sweep Dual Brush Sweeper, 92N0AMost disappointed in this sweeper. I used it on carpets and hardwood floors and tiled floors. It works fairly on the hardwood floors and poorly on the carpets and rugs. I thought it would be handy, quieter and easier to use; because of it's lightness. I still had to pick off lint and fuzz on my throw rugs and carpeting. It's going into the garbage! I'll be looking for a cordless stick sweeper now. P.S. I had no instructions for keeping the handle together; but took a brick, and block of wood, and banged the handle together, by striking the block of wood with the brick, on the part of the handle to be locked on. My mother's carpet sweeper (60 years ago); worked better than this one!!
Customer Review: worst sweeper I've ever owned! Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this yesterday after my electric Bissell stopped working properly. I think a cordless sweeper is perhaps the only product I HAVE to replace the day it stops working! It is something I use several times a day. I used it first on my carpet. It worked OK, but wouldn't pick up a leaf. No big deal. Then I tried it on my bamboo kitchen floor. It didn't get half of what my electric Bissell picked up. I went over popcorn several times and it wouldn't pick it up. It doesn't get in corners at all. I just won't keep a product that is going to leave me needing ANOTHER product to clean up behind it! It's going back to the store pronto! The handle is also a BAD design. It needs to actually screw together to be sturdy.
Customer Review: bissel FIX THE HANDLE Summary: 3 Stars
i read many reviews b4 buying this product, on home depot and walmarts sites, and everyone had the same complaint - the handle comes apart when you use it. instead of a screw in handle, the handle just presses together, so of course the action of you pushing and then pulling causes the handle to pop out - and the handle is in 4 different pieces, so one or the other pops out everytime.
i have taped it together, but the bottom joint is not easy to tape on, i have to work on that one, maybe i will epoxy it.
i bought it anyway even after reading the reviews because if you fiddle with it, then it works good - but really bissel should take note, and change the design
Customer Review: Poor design Summary: 1 Stars
This product was a huge disappointment, considering it was a Bissell. The handle has never seated properly no matter what I try to do. So I end up crawling around the floor pushihg just the sweeper. In addition, it is very difficult to clean out. When the "trap" snaps open the dirt is pushed back next to the brush -and falls out(onto the floor) when the trap is returned to the closed position. I contacted the company and they were absolutely no help with the handle problem. For the rest, is is extremely poorly designed. Considering the reputation Bissell had/has they are certainly not living up to it.
