Faster wet carpet cleaner sounds like a sure fire winner, but how exactly does it dry your carpet faster? Answer: It shoots less water onto your carpets. The Bissell sprays water onto a roller and rolls your carpet wet. This function doesn't allow for water to penetrate the carpet deep enough and then get sucked back up to give you a deep clean. No one wants a soaking wet carpet, but I do want my carpets soaked, dried, and cleaned. This device didn't achieve all 3 for an optimal carpet cleaner.
If you have tile floors or similar, this will work wonderfully for you. Or if you have thick rugs that are not too dirty, but could use a refresher, this might be worth it.
I have thick carpets and a 90 lb Golden Retriever Mix that drags in dirt, dust, sand, debris, and what ever he can when he walks the streets back home, and this machine just doesn't cut it for me.

Over the years I have used a wide assortment of carpet cleaners. I have always been partial to cleaners made by Bissell, but this cleaner in my opinion has "tarnished" Bissell's reputation. The cleaner doesn't have any rotating brushes under the head and they use a beater bar style in place of the brushes. In my opinon this is a huge mistake as the brushes agitate stains in the carpet to help get them out. The beater bar cuts the cleaning factor in half. Even on the hand tool portion the same is true-nothing to agitate the carpet fibers for a good cleaning. Adding the cleaning solution and water to the cleaner is effortless as well as the clean up. The cleaner seems to be lighter than similar cleaners. With Bissells "fast drying" claim I failed to notice a difference in "dry time" vs. other models I have used.Customer Review: Good on floors, but doesn't get carpet wet enough to clean it

I have two toddlers and four cats, so when I heard about a carpet cleaner that dried in 30 minutes, that sounded great. We regularly use a Hoover cleaner, and it does a good job, but it takes hours to dry. That means the kids have to be out of the house for the day or they get all wet.
The problem is that the floor doesn't get wet enough to pull the dirt out. Simple as that. You could work forever and not get carpet cleaned. It does, however, do a good job on floors. This works well for my kitchen and entryway, though it's a big piece of equipment for the little space that I have to wash. 3 stars for cleaning floors, 0 for cleaning carpet.

I am comparing this Bissell 7350 with my Hoover SteamVac F5914-900. In a quick summary, this Bissel 7350 is no comparison to Hoover SteamVan.
The Bissel 7350 may look stylish and may be gentle to those luxuary carpet with long fiber. But, from cleaning function point of view, Bissel 7350 just can not clean up dirt and stain effectively. It lacks the "scrubbing" capabililty to stir the carpet to get the dirt out. Yes, the carpet does dry faster, but that's because the detergent is not pushed deep into the carpet to do the cleaning work. It's a waste of money to buy this Bissel 7350.

This carpet cleaner is useful if you want to do a bit more than vaccumm and give rid of light stains and patches. It boasts "quick drying" done by using a roller pad to soak up the water which works amazingly well. The carpet cleaner is extremely light (you can lift it with one hand) and the water reservoir is enough for 1 average size room. If you have deeply set stains or need to really do a thorough cleaning of your carpets, this is probably not the carpet cleaner for you. This is good for refreshing the carpet and making a subtle difference in stains and dirty spots.
