Customer Review: Main cleaner doesn't work

I bought this product refurbished and when it arrived the steam cleaner attachment worked very well; cleans carpets and upholstery perfectly. However, the main portion of the cleaner (the spot bot itself that you set on the carpet to clean a spot) did not turn or function at all. I had to take it to a repair shop within 24 hours of purchase from Amazon to get it fixed. The salesperson says they get these Spot Bots in all the time for repair, that they are not good units. I really wanted this item to spot clean upholstery and car interiors so it works fine for that, but to have the main function of the item not working at all was extremely annoying.Customer Review: Worked great for 3 months then took a dump

I LOVED this when I first got it, it was great for cleaning up small spills and messes that my dog made, etc., but not even 4 months later, it has failed me. It doesn't seem to be spraying the solution out as it should, even though there's no blockage or anything, and when it does spray, it doesn't suction it up like it should. I'm very disappointed by the fact that less than a month out of the "limited 90 day warranty" it isn't working as it should. Not to mention my Bissell upright vacuum I bought less than 2 years ago, the motor has already died on it.
I am extremely let down by Bissell and their products right now.

This little machine really does a great job getting stains out of the carpet. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. The carpet is very light colored and everything shows.
The SpotBot was able to remove urine and feces stains with good success. I used the Oxiclean and Bissel cleaner included in the box. I also used Nature's Miracle to remove set in cat urine stains. It worked very well and also got rid of the oder.
The only problem with SpotBot is that it occasionally leaks and does tend to leave the carpet rather wet. However, I just used the hand attachment to vacume up the excess wetness and that helped.

I love this little carpet cleaner. Its lightweight so it's not a pain to move around, but it still does an amazing job. The tank doesn't hold a lot of water/solution, but its really easy to fill so I don't mind having to refill the tank. I love the hands-free option, just set it on a spot and it does all the work. This option tends to leave the spot pretty wet so i go over it a couple times with the hose. I had some spots in my carpet that I couldn't get out, even when i rented a carpet cleaner, but this machine got them out the first time I used it. I really recommend the oxy gen2 cleaner, it works wonders!Customer Review: Nice Little Spot Cleaner

We bought this after we brought home a new dog; we anticipated needing it for pet mess cleaning. It works very well as advertised. I have two complaints, but neither keep me from wanting to use it. The machine uses ALOT of cleaning fluid, which I wish it wouldn't- I think it will be expensive to keep buying the various cleaning bottles. The other complaint is that it releases ample moisture onto your carpet in the longer cycle for set-in stains. It left our carpet wet for two days, which wouldn't be so bad if the machine didn't leave perfect, conspicuous, wet, 8 inch circles.
