Customer Review: Three Strikes and It's OUT!

I bought this at WalMart hoping it would clean my stairs and make them look clean again. Wrong! The handle comes in pieces that hook together so it can fit in a smaller package. It feels a bit flimsy but did not bend when used. However, the foam did not come out in a stream as shown on t.v. It came out mostly in blotches. Strike one. I took the can out, that came with the scrubber and tried to spray it on the carpet by hand. I had to use my own technique to do this. Strike 2. I waited till it was dry and vacuumed it up. No noticeable difference whatsoever. Strike 3, you're out! I wish I hadn't bothered with this product. Someone should give the advertising company an award, though, for being able to get people to buy this product. I admit it looked promising but failed to deliver.Customer Review: Looks better on TV

I had a $5 coupon, so I thought I would give the product a try.
The product was $12.99 at my local Stop & Shop.
I have used the regular spray can of Woollite heavy duty for numerous years.
So thought this applicator stick was a grand idea and time saver.
It foamed for about 3 feet on a 28inch wide runner and the can gave up
removed the can and shook it and very little came out,
and it seemed once you flipped the stick over to scrub the 1st 3 feet
then the foam rake no longer wanted to work ... I'm a big guy and not sure
how a 98 pound person could get the right angle/pressure to operate this thing.
Poorly designed, TOY, for gadget minded people like myself.
A waste of my time and money. Don't waste your time or money.

When I first saw the t.v. ad for the Rug Stick. I thought how great would that be if it worked. There are areas of my carpet that are walked down and others that have stains. I have a 2 year old who has just about done everything to this carpet. I opened the box just expecting the worst and was suprised at how well it did work. The area of the carpet that was walked down was given new life. There were some stains that it did not get up right away. I had to repeat it a couple of times, but most came up with ease. It comes with a trial size of the foam but buy another one. The larger can of woolite heavy traffic foam seamed to work better. I know everyone will have their own opinion of how it works on their carpet but for me, it was a great buy.Customer Review: Pleasantly surprised !

I have to admit that I was very skeptical that this would clean a carpet as well as the television ad stated. I was pleasantly surprised when I used it on an Oriental rug and a 10' X 10' rug in a bedroom that it really worked! Almost every ground-in stain on both rugs cames out and the rugs dried quickly without vacuuming. I have had terrible experiences with rug cleaning machines which would soak the carpet down to the mat underneath and the rug would remain wet for days.
For only $18.95, this is an excellent and highly useful product from Woolite. You can clean a rug on a moments notice and the cleaner leaves a nice scent throughout the whole room. I highly recommend this.

I had some heavy traffice areas that need cleaned.
Any not enough time to call a professional as I had company coming in .
So I thought I would give it a try.
The concept is great
PROS: pre measured amounts of foam relased
apperas to have done an oksy job of cleaning-(not completely dry yet
CONS: The stick broke in half ---part way through the job
so I now have a Woolite Rug Brush rather than a rug stick
Worse it brought up an awful lot of carper fiber---I think it did-
who knows how much the professional cleaners pull up
Botton line ---its an expensive brush--do the job the old fashiomn way on you hands and knees.
