We use our Dustbuster every day, to pick up the inevitable Dog Hair in the Corners (tm). It always has good suction, is easily charged, easy to open and empty -- for the fabulous price of only $15. We also have a handheld Dyson, which cost over $100, only gets about 1 minute of use before it needs charging, is complicated to empty -- I could have bought SIX dustbusters for the price of the over-priced unit. I bought this to clean up litter and food after my pets. Its strong enough to clean up small things on the floor and carpet and lasts probably about 10 minutes total of battery life if you charge it fully when you first buy it. I gave it a 4 because for the price of the vac it is exactly what I expected and needed. Don't buy this looking for more than a low power, cheap, cordless hand vac, if you want more than that, spend more.Customer Review: Great for small messes on the floor

We have two long haired dogs and this does well for vacuuming the hair that collects in corners (on hard floors). It does well on dry messes too (sand, coffee, soil, etc). It's handy for vacuuming the car as well. It will get the majority of the mess off the carpet, but it does not get down into the fibers of the carpet so you are better off using a normal vacuum for that. Also, it does not get dog hair out of carpeted stairs.Customer Review: Worthless battery

Just as others say, I've had it for a little over a year with infrequent use, maybe twice a month. It worked fine at the beginning, but the battery is so weak, it barely works. I don't get more than 1 minute of operation.
Seriously, considering how much use I got out of it, it's certainly not worth the cheap price I paid.
Shopping for a replacement now, I'm staying away from B&D.

I've been a B&D fan for many years! The Dustbuster I had from them, just wore out after about 20 years! It only was a 3...volt. This one is engineered even better, since the 2 small attachments are stashed right inside. The hanging loop is great too so it's always on the wall over the outlet for charging. All around good and the great price Amazon gave me, plus free shipping. I LOVE Amazon!!!
