I had had battery-operated vac's before, but I kept losing the power supply. And they never seemed to have much power. That's not the case with this vac. I like the power of this product and use it for spot cleaning. I suspect if I tried to use it for my entire 1 bedroom apartment, the battery would run down. Since I have a full-sized vacuum, I don't need to do that so I'm very happy with it. It's also very easy to clean.Customer Review: dust buster cordless

We have 3 cordless vacs for quick pick ups in house and cars. This is the most powerful, easily used of the three. The plastic housing is rather soft so it scratches easily. Merely a cosmetic concern. When the older vacs die, we will replace them with this design.Customer Review: Not the best...but it works

I purchased this to use for dog hair around the house. We have a siberian husky and she sheds like crazy. This isn't the best for dog hair...it fills up quickly and the hair gets caught in the nozzle and filter. I would recommend only for dirt, crumbs, etc.
