Customer Review: Great little vac
Summary: 5 Stars

I LIKE this vac! Maybe owing to the fact that I haven't had a cordless handvac since back in the early "original Dustbuster" days (they were such a 'revolutionary' novelty back in the 80s), I think this thing ROCKS! The sucking power of this vac is great, and the attachments/extension feature really add to its utility. I do sort of wish the waste chamber was a bit larger, but that's a tiny gripe on an otherwise great design. I'm not normally a huge Black & Decker fan, but this time they scored a hit with me. My only regret is that one of my first vac jobs with this was a bunch of dead leaves and debris from around the AeroGarden (that I regrettably let stay in the chamber for days). Now, months later, every time we use the vac we still get a fresh burst of basil fragrance. And no, that's not as pleasant as it sounds...

Customer Review: Amazing!!
Summary: 5 Stars

We thought having a hand-vac would be useful for little messes, saving us from having to get the big vacuum out so often. Boy did we underestimate the utility of this thing. It is so powerful and so easy to use that we have gone from pulling out the big vacuum after each meal (we have four young children) to now only pulling it out for the normal weekly clean. This thing can pick up almost anything, even fairly large chunks of food including moist/wet items (the 22 month old is fond of throwing watermelon chunks on the floor at the moment, not a problem with this). We have a wood table with jagged groves it that used to be a pain to clean out, this easily sucks all of the crumbs / bits right out of them. I could go on and on but you get the idea. We love it so much I am on right now to buy one to give to my mother.

Customer Review: BEST Hand Held Vac Powerful PERFECT!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is the best hand held vac I have owned and I have had many over the years. It is powerful, has an extension neck with brush attachment and adjustable in various angles neck. I do not think it is to loud...usually vacs that are powerful are somewhat loud.. It picks up everything and I use it everywhere. Under furniture, window sills, carpet, floors, car, stairs etc. The charge lasts a good length of time. I think some reviewers say the charge does not last very long as you tend to want to keep vacuuming with it and forget this is a hand held not a regular home vacuum!! Perfect design and fold so nicely in it's base. I think this is the very best hand held vac available. I have not tried the Dyson hand held which could be a better vac but that one is too expensive for a hand held. This vac is wonderful and priced well.

Customer Review: pretty good hand vac
Summary: 5 Stars

this hand vac is very good for small messes, or cleaning ur car. i dont suggest getting this as ur only vacuum or using it for whole carpets of bedrooms, as it is still just a hand vac, but for ur everyday small messes, it is very good.

the suction is better than lots of other hand vacs, but still is not strong as a regular household vacuum. ppl say in other reviews that this hand vac is very loud, and i guess i agree somewhat, but it is not significantly beyond the volume of any other normal vacuum. i mean, what vacuum of any type does not make noise?

all in all, i am happy with this purchase. like i said earlier, you're not going to see me on my hands and knees vacuuming my entire room with this, but i bought it to clean up small messes and my car. it takes care of these functions very well.

Customer Review: Good for about one year of life.
Summary: 1 Stars

This is a well designed vac that is convenient and powerful. However, it will not last due to cheap battery technology. I am about 99% sure it uses the 1980's era NiCad batteries due to the fact they won't admit anywhere on the package or specs what batteries are in it. Regardless, the batteries used will ABSOLUTELY FAIL YOU in about a year of average use. My unit will now only run for about 2 minutes.

I'd encourage you to look for any other vacuum that uses Nickel Hydride or other technology. This could have been a good product but it will not perform and it probably ends up costing you about $1.00 per use considering you can't replace the batteries without disassembly and likely some soldering.

Avoid this product for yourself or for a gift (unless you want to end a friendship).
