I received this for Christmas, and I love it! I use it every day, and my 7-yr.-old daughter likes to use it also , so she's actually willing to help clean! I like to keep it plugged in whenever not in use, because after a couple rounds, the battery does run low, and then it won't work as well. I just keep it off in a corner in the dining room. Also, the carpet mode that makes the brush spin works MUCH better than the regular floor mode; I only use the carpet mode. Also when putting the hand vac back in the main component, grab the back with your fingers and press your thumbs on the hand vac, otherwise it's difficult getting it to click into place.Customer Review: Nice but underpowered

I've had this vacuum for couple of years, and I bought it online because it was rated as the "most powerful cordless on the market". That's a definite overstatement. The vacuum will pick up cramps, and that's what we use it for. It doesn't have power to do any serious carpet cleanup, but it does look nice, it stays in the corner of my kitchen as a nice piece of small equipment. When we use it we always take it out from the base, because the base with the brush doesn't have enough suction power. I know people who have more powerful cordless vacuums of the same size, but I don't want to mention the names - not to look biased toward other brands.Customer Review: Great Cordless Vacuum for the Money

This vacuum is outstanding for what it is--a lightweight, capable and convenient vacuum cleaner. We have a Kirby (heavy but rugged) and Hoover Windtunnel (good but troublesome) and I think this is the most useful of the three for most day-to-day cleaning. I'd probably use one of the others if I needed deep carpet cleaning or for your weekly (bi-weekly) heavy cleaning, but this does the trick in between.
The vacuum mounts easily, has an impressive charge life (did the entire downstairs on a single charge with plenty left) and is LIGHT.
With the price and free shipping (for Amazon Prime), you can't beat this unit.

I got this vacuum for 50$, it works great! At first we were a little weary because it seemed light and flimsy, but boy is it powerful! We had a little bit of trouble with it the first day because it wasn't charging correctly, but it turns out it was on the whole time so it wouldn't charge. It picks up everything and works well on both hard floors and carpets, plus it's cheap compared to other vacuums. It's great because it's cordess so you aren't tripping over the cord as you vacuum. Plus it converts into a mini vacuum so you can vacuum your sofa or a small area. I don't have anything bad to say about this! Good job Black & Decker!Customer Review: G, Thompson

This product is actually fabulous, however the "Dust Buster" that is inserted into the coordless vac does not stay "clicked" in. I am not sure if this is how the item is designed or if this is a flaw. This is my 2nd one I have purchased, one for myself and one for my sister. My sisters is doing the samething. Don't get me wrong, the Dust Buster does not fall out while using it, but it seems to all of us, it should snap in and be tight. This product works great. I do not pull my big vacuum out any longer. This Cordless Vac can do it all, tile and carpet, small enough to get in tight area's and has tremendous sucking power. I love it.
