Tools and Hardware Reviews of Black and Decker CFV1200 DustBuster 12-Volt Cordless VacuumCustomer Review: Perfect vacuum for stairs Summary: 4 Stars
I've been looking for a good vacuum for stairs and high traffic areas that always could use a quick clean-up. This isn't what you'd want to vacuum the whole house, but it's great for doing the jobs where you don't want to haul out the big vac, or carry the big vac up and down the stairs. I didn't find it to be as great on hard floors, but it worked well on carpeted ones. My biggest complaint about this vacuum is the on button of course is on the dust buster portion, so you have to bend down to get to the power button, where it's normally right on a handle. Other than that, I really think this vacuum is great for what I bought it for.
Customer Review: This is a GREAT product if you buy it for what it is for... Summary: 5 Stars
This is a wonderful machine if you buy it for what it was made for. This machine it not made to be your sole vacuum it is to use as an in between or a hand vac. It works GREAT for this! I have a three year old and we have a Kirby vacuum which we love very much. But we have a three story house and it is very heavy. So we just got this a couple days ago and I love it. I can use it on every floor to clean up in between deep vacuumings. Again I researched these on consumer reports and all cordless vacs don't run very long in between chargings and don't pick up like a tradiational vac but this one was rated the best. And I agree!
Customer Review: pretty good value Summary: 3 Stars
I purchased this vacuum about a year ago, and was very happy with it at first. I have all hardwood and linoleum in my house, with one area rug. I wanted a small vacuum I could use for small jobs. I used it about twice a week, sometimes using it on the floors and rug, sometimes just the rug. I have found that it has barely any suction on bare floors now, but seems to works well with the carpet brush. Also will not hold a charge for more than a couple of minutes at this point. I paid about $50 for mine, and would say I've gotten good use out of it, but wish it would have lasted longer than a year.
Customer Review: Definitely worth buying Summary: 5 Stars
I just bought my second CFV1200 DustBuster Cordless Vac. I owned my first one for about 3 years until the battery died and they are not necessarily replace-able nor worth the money. I found a great deal on my second one here at Amazon and jumped on it. I use this DustBuster in my bathroom daily or more. It is convenient, easy, light and handy. It has powerful suction and I can keep my rugs fluffed as if I shook them. It is a great way to keep small areas clean with out all the fuss of a broom and dustpan and is much quicker. It is definitely worth the money.
Customer Review: Love It! Love It! Summary: 5 Stars
This little vac is a really worth the purchase. I have 2 small kids and I was constently dragging the broom and large vac out. Now I just grab this and do hardwood floors and carpet touch ups. It picks everything up really well. It holds a charge pretty well too, I just leave it charging between uses so it is always ready to go. My only complaint is the hand held dustbuster doesn't click back in easily to the floor vac handle and I'm afraid it might snap a clip at some point. But with that aside I love this vac. I have already recomended it family and friends.
